Every decent mailing list has rules of "netiquette", and I would ask you to comply with the following basic guidelines:-

1. Please keep to the subject of the mighty Tottenham Hotspur Football Club! There are times when football issues in general become of genuine interest, but remember this is a Spurs mailing list and not than of any other club.

2. No over-quoting. When replying to an e-mail, please edit your e-mail, and quote only the relevant section of the post you want to commetn about.

3. No "SHOUTING". Shouting is depicted by printing in UPPER CASE ONLY. Whilst it is sometimes necessary TO EMPHASISE A WORD OR TWO, there is no reason to make all of your mail in upper case. In fact it is perceived as plain bad manners.

4. No personal abuse. Make your argument about an issue or a particular person in a reasonable fashion, and do not include personal insults.

5. Try to use moderate language. The "C" word will not be tolerated on this mailing list. Over-use of Chaucerian language may lead to loss of posting rights. Remember there are *asterisks* on your keyboard!

The list-owner will be the arbiter of any breach of guidelines, and may at his discretion choose to warn or remove transgressors.
