One lucky reader (being notified) has won a selection of those DVDs, just by taking part in this end of season survey to decide the best of Gareth Bale's goals scored this season for Spurs.
The competition and poll closed at midnight 31/05/2013.
Gareth has scored 26 goals for Spurs in all competitions this season, and I have summarised them below:-
Goal 1 - Bale's first goal of the season was at Reading, when he scored from a Walker cross, without connecting properly with the ball.
Goal 2- Gareth gives Spurs a two-goal lead at Old Trafford, with a right-footed shot after a run towards the right of the United area at The Stretford End!
Goal 3 - a headed goal against his old team Southampton at St. Marys' Stadium on October 28th.
Goal 4 - an excellent right footed drive from outside the area at Norwich in the League Cup, beating goalkeeper Bunn to his right. (See also Goal 12)
Goal 5 - in the 5-2 defeat at The Emirates, in November, Gareth picked up a Sandro header and made a run before beating Szczesny with a low shot.
Goal 6 - at home to West Ham, Bale scores from quite close range, after a Dempsey cross. Left foot shot in off the post.
Goal 7 - Spurs beat Liverpool 2-1 at home, and for the first time we saw the "curve ball" free kick from Gareth, which moved and deceived Reina.
Goal 8 - First goal of a hat-trick at Villa Park on Boxing Day. Gareth picked up a defensive interception, and after a sublime first touch, ran through the central defence and around Guzan to score.
Goal 9 - His second of the hat-trick. Fed by Walker and Lennon on the right, Bale was able to score with four defenders around him, but none of them got close!
Goal 10 - An easy finish for his hat-trick goal, from Sigurdsson's final pass.
Goal 11 - Spurs beat Coventry 3-0 in the FA Cup Third Round and Gareth finished off at the back post when Dempsey's shot was blocked and looped to his feet.
Goal 12 - This is a contender! Bale scored a real quality goal in a 1-1 draw at Norwich on 30th January. Made an amazing run through the midfield, at great speed, before firing an exquisite shot across Bunn in goal. It was the equalizing goal too.
Goal 13 - 3rd February at The Hawthorns, and Bale is really warming up now, scoring the only goal of the game after slipping past Morrison, and hitting a powerful, rising shot.
Goal 14 - The one man team allegations begin, as Bale scores in his third consecutive game, and hits both goals against Newcastle. The first one was a free kick up and over the wall at The Park Lane end to beat Krul.
Goal 15 - Bale comes off better in a challenge with Coloccini, and makes a bee-line for goal, beating Krul with a decisive low shot.
Goal 16 - First of two free kick goals against Lyon, beating the goalkeeper all ends up from 35 yards, just inside his right post.
Goal 17 - The second free kick against Lyon, scored at The Paxton End. Both these kicks had moved deceptively, and this one beat the keeper from 22 yards.
Goal 18 - The first of two goals at West Ham on 25th February. After Adebayor's pass, Bale beats Jaaskelainen with his left foot, across the keeper's left hand to give Spurs the lead.
Goal 19 - This was my favourite! It was a last minute winner in the 3-2 at West Ham. Bale had only just pulled himself to his feet after being fouled, but after a play-on by Howard Webb, the ball was returned to Bale who hit a sublime shot into the keeper's top left corner. The trajectory of the shot was right at me, and I saw it all the way. If it hadn't hit the net, the ball would have hit me!
Goal 20 - Spurs' first goal in the 2-1 win over Arsenal on March 3rd. Sigurdsson threads a clever ball down the inside left channel, and Bale is able to plant his shot to Szczesny's left.
Goal 21 - Spurs beat inter 3-0 at home and Bale scores the first with a header at the back post from a Sigurdsson cross! This goal also means that Gareth has scored in 7 of Spurs' last 8 games.
Goal 22 - 30th March at Swansea, and Bale scores after Vertonghen's pass; one touch and a short back-lift and the ball was in the net!
Goal 23 - Bale scores a goal of great skill in a 3-1 home win over Manchester City on 21st April. It was a great Huddlestone pass, and a sublime, deft finish by Bale to lift his shot over Joe Hart.
Goal 24 - The easiest goal of the season for Bale, as he closes down Wigan keeper Robles, whose attempted clearance simply rebounds into the Wigan net.
Goal 25 - Back to the usual Bale standard. This was another goal against his old team, and a crucial late winner, as he cut inside from the right and unleashed a killer shot past Boruc.
Goal 26 - This was very similar to the Southampton goal. It was our last game in which we had to win to stand any chance of Champions League. Gareth won the game with another typical left footed rising shot. Sadly, the win did not get us into the Champions League.
