Big games to come at Wembley

These are strange times at Spurs as the wait to move into their stunning new stadium continues. Despite this troubling time they continue in top form, led by England captain Harry Kane. Harry again showed why he is the key to Spurs' success, in scoring twice to gain the much needed victory over PSV in the Champions League. Could this be the result that now pushes the side forward this season? Looking at football tips for the weekend, we have the big London derby against Chelsea. This is a game in which Spurs need to pick up points, as they enter a very difficult run of fixtures.

Spurs currently sit fourth in the Premier League, with Champions League qualification the big aim for the season. This will be a tough task with Manchester City and Liverpool continuing to go from strength to strength. This is coupled with the resurgent Chelsea and Arsenal, who under their new managers, have improved dramatically from last season. Tottenham however must now kick on from the huge victory over PSV, which could help them to push through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. The next fixture in the Champions League is a must win game as they welcome Inter Milan next Wednesday. There are just three points separating them with two games to play.

So what next? Spurs now enter a very difficult run of fixtures which is set to all but define their season. Before this International break we had a tricky game at Selhurst Park, but we gained a hard-fought win, which put us in good stead. This Saturday we welcome West London rivals Chelsea, in what is set to be one of the biggest games of the season. Three points here would be huge in influencing our chances to finish in the top four. Chelsea are still undefeated in the league, which indicates the tough task at hand.

Following Chelsea we have the must win game against Inter Milan on matchday five of the Champions League. If we are to progress through then we just have to win this game. The difficult run continues with the massive away derby against Arsenal. Under Emery the "Gooners" look a new side, so this is a very much anticipated fixture and again could prove key to the top four prospects of both sides. Spurs then have testing games against Southampton and Leicester. Both sides often give us a difficult game but we will be hoping to pick up all six points available.

Look out for the detailed Spurs Odyssey preview of the Chelsea game later this week!
