Tottenham disinclined to pay £30m for Krzysztof Piatek
Fresh hot news suggests that Spurs are looking to sign Krzysztof Piatek, but have been more or less reluctant in paying £30m for this AC Milan Striker.
Will we see any new faces arrive at Spurs in this window?
Well, if you haven't been living in a hole, or more likely playing slot games all day at online casinos or casino sister sites, distant from the world, chances are you've heard of Tottenham Star Harry Kane's hamstring injury, which is why Spurs have been quite desperate to get their hands on an expensive Serie A player, but have been reluctant when it comes to paying £30m for him.
Harry Kane suffered what turned out to be a torn tendon on his left hamstring during our recent Premier League Fixture against Southampton, and Harry has confirmed that he has gone through a surgery.
The Tottenham striker took to social media to share the reports about his injury.
Harry relieved his worrying fans by posting a picture of his after-surgery situation with the caption "Surgery went very well. The first day of recovery starts now!", and will be set to get back in training in April.
Coming back to the point, Tottenham are allegedly set to bring in Krzysztof Piatek, but the £30m mark is unsurprisingly not been what Spurs want to pay. AC Milan's fierce striker's performance hasn't been great lately, with just 4 Serie A goals in 14 starts so far this season, but he could fit in until Harry recovers, and be a useful stand-in thereafter.
However, no matter how much potential Piatek might add to Tottenham, the deal itself is far from being signed. AC Milan are looking to get back the £30m they paid for Piatek last January.
Several reports indicate that West Ham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle are also interested in signing the 24-year old striker, who has scored five goals in 10 senior Polish Internationals.
