Spurs previous game against Blackburn was also a 0-0 (May 15th, 2005). We kept a total of 12 clean sheets in the Premiership last season, and between August 28th and September 19th 2004 managed 3 consecutive stone-wallers. The last of these was at Stamford Bridge with the assistance of the "team bus"! We went on to a fourth clean sheet in a Carling Cup game at Oldham.
Blackburn have now failed to score against us in 4 consecutive games. The last time they scored in a Spurs game was in their 1-0 win at Ewood Park on 29th November 2003.
Newcastle's last Premiership goal was in their last game of last season, whilst Sunderland have a dire run of 18 consecutive Premiership defeats to try to bring to an end. Their last point was at home to Blackburn (0-0) on January 11th 2003, and their last win ws at home to Liverpool (2-1) on December 15th 2002! I suppose they might fancy their chances at Wigan on Saturday, but I don't!
