Spurs Odyssey Reviews the Premier League Season
for 2017-2018 - Matchday 31

Salah leaps ahead of Kane

On the day when Spurs were beating Swansea 3-0 (without the injured Harry Kane) to reach their second successive FA Cup semi-final, Liverpool took advantage of Spurs' postponed Premier League game in more ways than one.

Firstly the "Reds" thrashed Watford 5-0 to take back third place, although we do have a game in hand. Secondly their star signing Mohamed Salah leapt four goals ahead of Harry Kane in the race for this season's Premier League Golden Boot. Salah now has 28 league goals compared to Harry's 24, so Harry will be playing catch-up when he returns next month, as has been promised. Just how early in April remains to be seen.

Whilst Spurs have now scored 7 goals in two games without the injured Kane, the sooner he returns the better, hopefully in time for the Man City league game, and the semi-final which will be against Manchester United, who will have the "home" dressing room at Wembley.

There is a lot to look forward to after the International break! Not least being the Chelsea game on April 1st. Check out the "infographic" provided by Betfair at the bottom of this page. You might also like to consider these football betting odds when considering this, and indeed any game.
