Unsurprisingly, there has been a marked improvement in our general performance this month, as last month's figures were badly affected by the Middlesbrough debacle. This month has seen four good performances with three wins and a defeat at Anfield, where we really deserved at least a point.
The figures have been fairly consistent this month, but do not quite match the standard of
last October, which was the month when Glenn Hoddle won his first "Manager of the Month" award for Spurs. The only area causing me a little concern currently is rather too many unforced errors, most of which have been in the middle of the park. I look forward to good results in November, when we face some more formidable opposition!
